Steve has been traveling eastern Oregon the last couple of weeks and has sent a few dispatches.  Between fending off Walmart parking security guards and making peanut butter and jelly sandwiches, he manages to find some beautiful gulches and uninhabited avenues.

A friend of mine gave me directions to her house and I ended up here instead. Well, at the front gate of this place anyway. My friend’s street runs right to their front gate and and then continues on the other side of this house. I just chose the wrong (or perhaps right) approach. Anyway, I’d totally live here.

Norwood Young is a eccentric and legendary R&B talent that lives just down the street from me.

This dude Norwood lives right down the street from me and is known for his R&B talent, sense of style and architectual/landscaping decisions. I drove by last Friday and was amazed to see a 72″ plasma in the front yard playing Thriller and all of his David statues decked out in Thriller garb. Some sort of blowout MJ party. The neighbors hate him. Evidence of the fun remains.
